Mike Fikowski has spent more than 50 years in the hospitality business. He has seen it all. But somewhere along the way, he started wanting something different. Not bigger. Smaller. More personal. More real.
When he and Tara found each other, they also found a commonality with horses so they shared a dream. A quiet piece of land, a slower pace, and the chance to welcome people in a way that actually means something. They took a farm outside Mayerthorpe, rolled up their sleeves, and got to work. The fields are now in production. The animals are settled in. And the suite is ready for the guests who need exactly what this place has to offer.

Meet Mike & Tara, who as a couple, strive consistently to provide their dream in real life, for others to share. While their passions for the ranch are the same, they each pursue different aspects of the dream. Whether it be the honey bees, horses, the crops or gardens, they are dedicated to all of these things coming together, to share with family, friends and their valued guests.
